The Mockingbird Cinema in Digbeth has announced it will screen the grand finale of the second series of Celebrity Traitors on the big screen, with tickets already on sale. The independent cinema is hosting the event at Alfresco at Alfred Works, just across the quad from the main venue, promising an evening of games, themed cocktails and fancy dress.
In a statement, the cinema said: "Join us for an unforgettable evening at Alfresco at Alfred Works as we screen the explosive Celebrity Traitors Finale, where deception meets drama and no one can be trusted!" The event is scheduled to begin at 6.30pm, with attendees encouraged to arrive early for games and challenges before the screening begins.
Games, cocktails and fancy dress
The cinema added: "Will you charm your way to victory, or be banished before the night begins?" Food and themed cocktails will be available throughout the evening. Fancy dress is also encouraged, with the cinema suggesting attendees pick out a favourite cloak or grow out an eye-catching black fringe to match the show's iconic style.
Following the finale, the venue will screen Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, the official follow-up show featuring interviews and behind-the-scenes secrets. This extended programme offers fans the chance to extend their evening and delve deeper into the series' twists and turns.
Rowdy atmosphere warning
The Mockingbird added a disclaimer about the tone of the event: "These finale parties get rowdy, we go all in on the drama, the twists, and the fun." They cautioned that the night is not suited for those seeking a quiet watch or who are easily offended, noting: "We like to have a laugh, stir the pot, and the language can get a bit blue."
The cinema also highlighted the popularity of the event, stating: "This sells out every year. If you phone up begging for tickets, you might be murdered." Tickets are available through the Mockingbird Cinema website, and fans are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
