The Hospice of the Valleys has confirmed the much-anticipated return of its cherished 'Forever in Bloom' remembrance campaign, which will soon transform Bedwellty House and Park into a breathtaking floral display.
Event Dates and Theme
Scheduled from Friday, July 10, to Sunday, July 12, 2026, this year's campaign introduces a poignant new theme: 'The Year of the Daffodil'. The daffodil symbolizes hope, resilience, and beautiful remembrance, and the community is warmly invited to dedicate a daffodil in loving memory of a family member, friend, or loved one.
Floral Tribute and Family Event
Throughout the weekend, the park grounds will gradually transform as dedications accumulate, culminating in a striking and emotionally resonant floral tribute. To honor the lives remembered, the campaign will conclude with a special family-friendly event on Sunday, July 12, featuring uplifting live musical performances by local artists. This gathering offers a space for both reflection and community connection.
Supporting Hospice Care
Beyond providing a space for remembrance, 'Forever in Bloom' serves a vital purpose. It highlights the invaluable compassionate support that Hospice of the Valleys offers to families facing life-limiting illnesses across Blaenau Gwent. All proceeds from daffodil dedications directly fund essential specialist palliative care and bereavement services, which are provided completely free of charge to patients and their families when they need it most.
