West Bromwich Albion coach James Morrison has expressed confidence in the club's midfield options, highlighting the development of Alex Mowatt as a positive sign. Morrison, who has been working with the squad during the international break, believes the competition for places is healthy.

Mowatt, who joined the Baggies in the summer, has been impressing in training. Morrison noted that the midfielder is adapting well to the demands of the Championship. "He's got great energy and a good range of passing. He's learning every day," Morrison said.
