Digbeth's premiere nightlife venue, XOYO Birmingham, has confirmed it will host England vs Norway's World Cup quarter-final match on Saturday, July 11. The high-stakes match will be shown on a 'huge' screen for fans, with air conditioning providing relief from the sweltering heat forecast for the weekend.
Match details and venue features
Temperatures are expected to reach around 30°C on Saturday, and with thousands of fans heading to pubs and bars across Birmingham to watch the match, air conditioning is a must. XOYO Birmingham will screen the match after England's remarkable 3–2 victory over Mexico. Thomas Tuchel's side arrive with momentum and a nation behind them, setting the stage for England's biggest match in the competition.
Doors open at 7pm, giving supporters time to settle in and build the atmosphere ahead of the 10pm kick-off. A DJ will set the tone before the match, with the venue's large LED screen and premium sound system ensuring the action feels as close to pitch-side as it gets.
Ticket information and entry conditions
Every ticket includes a welcome drink in the £10 price, available from Tixr. Fans can choose from a pint of Carlsberg, a pint of Barleywood Cider, or a post-mix soft drink. The England Fan Zone operates strict entry conditions: 18+ only, with no ID meaning no entry. No sportswear or gymwear is permitted, and England shirts are the only football shirts allowed.
With England pushing for their first World Cup semi-final since 2018, this quarter-final promises to be unmissable. XOYO Birmingham invites fans to be part of the story as England look to take one step closer to World Cup glory.
