Love Island All Stars 2026 launched with a major surprise as season 10 fan favourite Scott van-der-Sluis entered the villa as the first bombshell, marking his fourth appearance in the franchise.
Pre-empting the Backlash
Anticipating criticism from viewers, Scott released a pre-recorded TikTok video as his entrance aired on ITV2 and ITVX on Thursday, 15th January 2026. In the clip, filmed before he travelled to South Africa, he directly addressed those questioning his return.
"I know what's coming, 'Scott again, fourth, fifth time,' whatever," he said. "It's not the fourth, fifth time. It's the only time I've done an All Stars." He argued it was a logical conclusion to his Love Island journey, stating: "This is always where it was going to end."
A Savage Return to Form
True to his reputation for sharp one-liners, Scott wasted no time causing drama. Within minutes of arriving, he targeted season 11's Sean Stone, calling him "one of the worst islanders" he'd ever seen.
He followed up with a typically brutal remark, telling the sweetshop owner: "You were that far up Joey's arse you were naming his organs after candy." His entrance prompted screams from fellow islander Whitney Adebayo and immediately shifted the villa dynamics.
The Final Chapter?
Scott clarified that his previous appearances on Love Island USA and Love Island Games were separate from the main ITV production. He framed his All Stars participation as closing a chapter, with hopes of finding a partner.
"It's where I'm going to finish the job," he explained. "Who knows, maybe find someone, hopefully find someone to be fair I'm about that age now. And yeah, the final chapter. The final time." This suggests he has no plans for a fifth stint if this one proves unsuccessful.
As the bombshell, Scott wielded immediate power, choosing which couples he deemed 'No Good'. He selected Sean Stone and Belle Hassan, and Shaq Muhammad and Leanne Amaning, forcing their separation.
