Electric vehicle charging spaces on six roads across Dudley borough will become permanent from September 11, following a decision by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. The council has issued orders to retain the charging places, which were originally introduced under experimental traffic orders.
Locations and Effective Date
The permanent orders apply to Cinder Bank in Netherton, New England and Netherend Lane in Halesowen, and Worcester Street, Hagley Road and John Street in Stourbridge and Brierley Hill. The new orders came into force on September 11, according to the council's official notice.

Charging Rules and Restrictions
Under the permanent orders, the electric vehicle charging places will operate daily from 6am to 6pm. Vehicles may wait for up to six hours while charging in a designated space, and a vehicle must not return to the same space within six hours of leaving it.
The spaces are reserved exclusively for electrically propelled vehicles during the stated operating times. No other vehicles are permitted to use the spaces during those hours.
