Emergency services rushed to a Birmingham retail street this afternoon after a serious collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.
Emergency Response at the Scene
A man and a woman were transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital following the incident, which occurred on Longbridge High Street. The crash happened directly outside the Marks & Spencer store at approximately 2.36pm on Tuesday, December 16.
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched a significant number of resources to the location. A spokesperson confirmed they sent two ambulances, three paramedic officers, and the WMAS Critical Care Car to the scene after receiving reports of the road traffic collision.
