Honor has officially launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, in a move that intensifies competition in the high-end foldable market. The device was unveiled at a virtual event on Tuesday, showcasing a 7.7-inch main display and a 6.45-inch cover screen, both with 120Hz refresh rates.

The Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and features a triple rear camera system co-engineered with AI. The 50-megapixel main sensor uses AI algorithms to enhance low-light photography, according to Honor. The phone also includes a 5000mAh battery with 66W wired charging, which the company claims can reach 50% charge in 15 minutes.

Honor has priced the Magic V6 starting at £1,199 for the 256GB model, making it slightly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. It will be available in the UK from March 15, 2025, through major retailers including Carphone Warehouse and Amazon.
