Newcastle PolyBox Secures Six-Figure Investment

Newcastle marketing technology company PolyBox has secured a new six-figure investment to fuel its expansion and integrate advanced AI into its automated data analysis and reporting platform. The firm, founded in 2022 by Newcastle University graduates Rojin Yarahmadi and Nikolaus Benopoulos, has now raised a total of £1.5 million through investments and grants since its pre-seed stage.

Investment Details and Backers

The latest funding round includes £150,000 from Northstar Ventures via the North East Innovation Fund, supported by the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority led by Mayor Kim McGuinness. An additional £250,000 came from angel investors, and a £300,000 grant was secured from Innovate UK. This follows a previous £300,000 investment from Northstar in 2024, which was part of a £500,000 round backed by the North East Innovation Fund, Creative UK’s North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme, and angel investors.

Platform Capabilities and AI Integration

PolyBox’s platform enables marketing agencies to consolidate data from multiple sources into a real-time dashboard, generating automated reports that eliminate the manual effort of data collection. The founders state that the platform allows users to move “from in-depth insights to strategic action” quickly. The new funding will focus on embedding AI to automate reporting further and generate critical insights, reducing costs and improving decision-making speed and quality for marketing teams.
