Tesco Clubcard Holders: Check App for Free Coupons Every Thursday
Tesco Clubcard: Free Coupons Every Thursday on App

Tesco is rolling out a new summer initiative called Freebie Thursdays, offering free product coupons to Clubcard members every Thursday starting June 10. The coupons will be distributed through the Tesco app, and recipients have one week to scan them at checkout in store to claim their free item.

How Freebie Thursdays Work

Each Thursday, selected Clubcard members will receive a coupon for a free Tesco or branded product. The promotion kicks off with Sensations snacks, timed to coincide with the World Cup. Shama Wilson, Group Membership & Loyalty Director at Tesco, explained: "Clubcard unlocks the best value at Tesco, and we are always looking for more ways to reward our members. Over the coming weeks we will be giving away Tesco and branded products that our customers love just in time for the World Cup, kicking off with Sensations."

Wilson urged members to check the Clubcard tab on their Tesco app regularly: "I'd urge everyone to check under the Clubcard tab on their Tesco app to see if they've been selected for this week's coupon. But don't worry if you have not got a coupon this time, as millions more customers will be getting Freebie Thursdays coupons on exciting products from us this summer."

Growing Interest in Craft Beer

The announcement comes as Tesco reports a surge in interest for craft beer. The category now includes at least 10 distinct styles, such as IPAs, Double IPAs, Hazy/New England IPAs, West Coast IPAs, Imperial Stouts, Session IPAs, Sours, and Craft Lager. Tesco was among the first UK supermarkets to stock craft beer, and over the past five years, its range has expanded to more than 60 craft beers nationwide, with larger stores offering up to 40 different brews.

While major brands like BrewDog, Beavertown, and Camden initially popularized craft beer, smaller independent labels are now driving growth by introducing variations on established styles, making the selection increasingly diverse for shoppers.
