GreenWood Family Park, an eco-friendly theme park in North Wales, has changed hands. The Wood Family Group has acquired the park from Continuum Attractions, marking a new chapter for the popular destination.
Details of the acquisition
The park, located in Y Felinheli (formerly Port Dinorwic), attracts approximately 140,000 visitors annually. It was placed on the market in April with an asking price of £1.25 million. The value of the completed deal has not been publicly disclosed.
Spanning 34 acres, GreenWood features over 15 rides and attractions. Notable among them are a solar-powered water slide and a people-powered rollercoaster, underscoring the park's commitment to sustainability.

The Wood Family Group has outlined ambitious long-term plans for GreenWood. These include investment in new rides, attractions, play experiences, and guest facilities.
