Octopus Energy Alert: Save £42 on National Trust Passes
Octopus Energy £42 National Trust Deal Returns

Octopus Energy has issued an urgent alert to its customers, urging them to take advantage of a returning loyalty perk that could save families over £42 on days out. The energy supplier, which competes with rivals like British Gas, EDF, EON, and Ovo, has temporarily reinstated its popular discounted National Trust pass offer.

Limited-Time Loyalty Offer

The company announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that its National Trust family day passes are available for just £8 through the Octoplus loyalty scheme. This limited-time promotion is exclusively for Octopus Energy customers and will run until November 21, 2025.

In their social media post, Octopus Energy asked: "Want an excuse to get cosy and explore some hidden UK gems? Our National Trust passes are BACK! Family day passes are just £8 in the Octoplus Tab. Where are you heading first?"

What the Pass Includes

The £8 family pass represents a saving of over £42 compared to standard admission prices. The pass covers entry for up to two adults and three children at more than 200 National Trust properties across England and Wales.

Octopus Energy clarified the pass details: "Your pass doesn't include parking, non-standard admission, paid transport and paid events, unless these are free within standard admission. Passes cannot be used for group admission."

The supplier also confirmed that adults visiting without children can still use the pass, making it suitable for couples and individual visitors as well as families.

Important Dates and Availability

Customers have a strict deadline to claim this offer - they must act before November 21, 2025. Once claimed, pass holders have until December 12, 2025 to use their pass for a family day out.

Octopus Energy emphasised that this is a one-time claim opportunity per customer, but reassured that "there will be more chances throughout the year to grab another family pass."

Among the spectacular National Trust sites available to visit with the pass are:

  • Giant's Causeway in County Antrim
  • Greyfriars House and Garden in Worcestershire
  • Hill Top and Hawkshead in Cumbria
  • Attingham Park in Shropshire

While customers will be asked to select a date when claiming their pass, Octopus Energy confirms that the pass can be used on any day up to and including December 12, 2025, providing flexibility for planning around British weather.
