In a significant move for the UK's marketing and communications sector, the London-based group PrettyGreen has acquired the digital content agency PinPoint Media. The deal, finalised for an undisclosed sum, signals a strategic expansion for the group whose client roster includes major brands like Tesco, Hasbro, and Sky.
A Strategic Acquisition for Future Growth
The acquisition of Cheltenham-based PinPoint Media forms a core part of PrettyGreen's declared "long-term growth strategy." Founded in 2008 by former Red Bull staff and named after the old £1 note, PrettyGreen has built a formidable reputation working with names such as Nando’s, Cadbury, and Under Armour. Its current client book also features Bupa, innocent drinks, and Pizza Express.
PinPoint Media, established in 2013 by Oliver Bruce from his university halls, has itself seen substantial growth over the past decade. The agency, which acquired paid media and creative shop NOVA+ in 2023, boasts an impressive client list including Gloucester Rugby, HSBC, and the British Heart Foundation.
Leadership and Shared Vision
Under the terms of the agreement, PrettyGreen now holds a majority stake in PinPoint Media. Founder and Chief Executive Oliver Bruce will retain a shareholding and continue to lead the agency's day-to-day operations. Bruce expressed enthusiasm about the new chapter, highlighting the shared values between the two businesses.
"Joining PrettyGreen marks the beginning of a new chapter for our agency," said Mr Bruce. "Their commitment to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurialism is deeply compelling, and will enable continued growth for our teams, greater access to talent for our clients, and an exciting opportunity to scale internationally."
Mark Stringer, founder and group chair at PrettyGreen, framed the deal as a signal of intent. “This acquisition is a clear signal of our intent to back ambitious, founder-led agencies that are redefining how marketing, performance and creative are delivered," he stated.
Executing a Buy-and-Build Strategy
Jessica Hargreaves Paczek, group chief executive at PrettyGreen, emphasised the synergistic benefits of the merger. She noted that the deal brings together businesses with a shared belief in independence, outstanding performance, and craft.
"Building on our best year in 2025—when Mummy Pig broke the internet and we won over 30 awards—we continue to focus on evolving and futureproofing our ability to deliver global fame-making campaigns for clients," Hargreaves Paczek added.
The acquisition underscores a trend of consolidation within the UK's creative industries, as established groups seek to broaden their service offerings and geographic reach. By integrating PinPoint Media's digital content expertise, PrettyGreen strengthens its position to compete for larger, integrated campaigns on an international scale.
