24 Stories: Birmingham's Highest Restaurant Relaunches with Brummie Flair
Birmingham's 24 Stories: Orelle Reborn with Brummie Menu

Birmingham's skyline dining scene has been given a spectacular refresh with the official relaunch of 24 Stories, the city's highest bar and restaurant, formerly known as Orelle.

A Star-Studded Relaunch

The celebrity launch event saw famous faces including Love Island's Liberty Poole and This Morning's Alison Hammond turn out to celebrate the rebranding of the 'restaurant in the clouds'. Located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, the venue first opened in October 2022 as Orelle and has since won accolades such as Best Restaurant in Birmingham at the British Restaurant Awards 2025.

While the name has changed and the menu has been revitalised, the venue continues to offer its signature 360-degree panoramic views of Birmingham from the top of the skyscraper. The lavish decor and general feel of the establishment have been retained, ensuring it remains a premier destination.

A Taste of Birmingham in the Clouds

The most significant change is the new, distinctly Brummie-inspired menu that pays homage to the city's rich culinary history. New dishes include a Beef Croquette with hot sauce, a creation inspired by The Bullring and the old HP Sauce factory.

Other highlights are the Day Boat Cod, a tribute to Birmingham's bustling fish market, and a Saddleback Pork Cutlet served with bacon cake and black pudding, honouring traditional dishes from The Black Country.

For dessert, patrons can enjoy a Bournville Chocolate Fondant celebrating the world-famous Cadbury's factory, and a new Sticky Toffee Pudding with custard, poured tableside in a nod to Digbeth's historic Custard Factory.

Signature Cocktails and Lasting Favourites

The restaurant's bar remains a key attraction, featuring a range of signature cocktails. Popular choices include the best-selling Rhubarb & Custard, which uses WildJac Gin from The Wyre Forest and references the Custard Factory, and the Victoria Spritz, the team's take on a classic Hugo spritz named after neighbouring Victoria Square.

For those who were fans of the original Orelle menu, reassurance comes in the form of returning favourites. Dishes such as the Tuna Tartare, Corn-fed chicken supreme, and Porterhouse sharing steak will still be served. The menu also continues to feature beautifully presented tartlets with edible flowers and smoked salmon.

This refresh positions 24 Stories as one of three restaurants nationwide operated by The Evolv Collection under the 'Stories' brand, joining the family of Manchester's 20 Stories and London's 14 Stories.

24 Stories is located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, Birmingham city centre, B3 3AG. For more information or to book, visit the 24 Stories website or call 0121 716 8186.
