Deliveroo Launches Bundles Feature for Multi-Store Orders with No Extra Fee
Deliveroo Bundles: Order from Multiple Stores, No Extra Fee

Deliveroo has launched a new feature called 'Bundles' that enables customers to order from multiple stores in a single transaction. This innovation allows shoppers to combine purchases from up to three different shops without incurring additional delivery charges.

How the Bundles Feature Works

The Bundles feature is designed to replicate a trip to the local high street, where customers can visit various stores in one go. Suzy McClintock, vice president for consumer and new verticals at Deliveroo, explained: “We want to emulate a trip to the shops on your local high street through the ability to order from multiple stores in a single order. Whether that be your local supermarket, butchers or bakers, through to your pharmacy, or florist, grocery customers can fulfill different needs in a single order, for no extra delivery cost.”

Upgrade to the Top Up Feature

In addition to Bundles, Deliveroo is upgrading its 'top up' feature. Previously available only for grocery orders, the top up function now works with restaurant orders as well. Customers can add more items from a nearby store after placing an initial order, providing greater flexibility.

Deliveroo Reservations in London

For customers in London, Deliveroo is introducing a restaurant reservation system called Deliveroo Reservations. Launching this Thursday, the feature allows users to book tables at popular London eateries such as Dishoom, Dove, Hide, Kricket, Barrafina, and Kolae. This move integrates technology from SevenRooms, a booking platform acquired by DoorDash for around £900 million.

Deliveroo, which serves Birmingham and other UK cities, was acquired by US-based DoorDash for £2.9 billion last year. Suzy McClintock commented: “This launch is about supporting restaurants to grow in new ways. Whether it’s a Deliveroo order or a reservation in store, we want to drive discovery, demand and revenue across every channel.”

The new features are part of Deliveroo's strategy to enhance customer convenience and support local businesses.
