Dec Donnelly Buys Third House on London Street After £30m ITV Deal
Dec Donnelly buys third property on same London street

Television star Declan 'Dec' Donnelly has marked the signing of a massive new £30 million ITV contract with a significant property investment, purchasing his third house on the same exclusive West London street.

A Growing Property Portfolio

The presenter, one half of the iconic duo Ant and Dec, has expanded his real estate holdings by acquiring a property adjacent to his existing two homes. Dec already owns a £7 million mansion on the street, which he bought in 2006 for £1.9 million, and a neighbouring house he purchased three years ago for £2.25 million.

The price of this latest acquisition is undisclosed, but properties on the street are currently fetching around £2.5 million. Planning applications have been submitted to the local council by Dec's wife, Ali, for a side extension and a new gate on the newly bought home.

From Neighbours to New Beginnings

This street was once home to both halves of the presenting partnership. Ant McPartlin lived just a few doors away from Dec before his divorce from his first wife, Lisa. He has since moved to a £6 million home in South West London with his new wife, Anne-Marie, and the couple are reportedly house-hunting again.

Dec's original seven-bedroom property has been extensively upgraded, now boasting a cinema, swimming pool, steam room, and poolside kitchen. He lives there with Ali and their two children, Isla and Jack. The recent third purchase, which consists of two flats, is also set for a makeover, though it is unclear if Dec plans to keep it or sell it on.

A Lucrative Deal and a Busy Schedule

The property deal is believed to have been finalised in the past two months, coinciding with negotiations for Ant and Dec's new three-year ITV contract. The deal, worth £5 million per year for each presenter, will see them through to the end of 2028, marking 30 years since they joined ITV.

The coming year is packed for the duo, with new series of Ant and Dec's Limitless Win, Britain's Got Talent, the returning I'm A Celebrity South Africa, and the main I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! series, which recently launched to a consolidated audience of 11.2 million viewers.

Commenting on their renewed partnership with ITV, Dec said they were "excited for the future". ITV's Managing Director of Media and Entertainment, Kevin Lygo, praised their "unrivalled" impact on live entertainment, calling the new deal an "exciting new chapter".
