Sky's January 2026 Sale: TV for 14p a Day & £300 to Switch
Sky's January Sale: TV from 14p a Day & £300 to Switch

Sky has kicked off 2026 with a major January sale, unveiling a host of aggressive discounts on its television and broadband packages. The promotion includes headline-grabbing offers such as its latest smart TV for pennies per day and bundles that match the low prices seen during the Black Friday period.

Sky Glass Air: A Smart TV for Less Than 15p a Day

One of the standout deals in the winter sale is for Sky's newest television, the Sky Glass Air. The 43-inch model is now available for just £4.25 per month, which works out to approximately 14p per day. This represents a reduction from its previous price of £6 per month.

Launched in June 2025 as a slimmer and more affordable alternative to the Sky Glass Gen 2, the Air model features a 4K HDR Quantum Dot screen and Dolby Audio. It comes with Sky TV and popular streaming apps built-in.

To secure this rate, customers must also take out a Sky TV package, such as the £15 per month Essential TV bundle. This offer is part of a 48-month interest-free payment plan that requires a £20 upfront deposit. Alternatively, shoppers can buy the Sky Glass Air outright for £225.

Broadband and TV Bundles Return to Black Friday Prices

Sky is also bringing back some of its most competitive bundle deals. The Sky Ultimate TV and Full Fibre 500 package has been reduced to £39 per month, down from £44, matching its Black Friday price and saving customers £120 over the term.

This package includes around 140 channels, access to Sky Atlantic, 500Mbps full fibre broadband, and complimentary subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+. It is delivered via Sky Stream, which uses a WiFi connection instead of a satellite dish.

For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the Essential TV and Full Fibre 300 bundle is available for £35 per month. Sky is also offering standalone broadband deals, with its Full Fibre 150 package now priced at £26 monthly.

Get Up to £300 to Cover Your Switching Costs

In a direct move to attract customers from rivals like Virgin Media and Plusnet, Sky is promising to cover early termination fees. New customers who sign up for a combined TV and broadband package can claim up to £300 to offset charges from their old provider. Those opting for broadband only can claim up to £200.

To receive the payment, customers must submit a claim within 90 days of activating their Sky service. Sky states that successful claims are typically processed within two weeks, with the credit applied to the customer's account, effectively providing several months of service for free.

However, consumers are advised to note that both Sky and Virgin Media typically implement price increases every April, meaning customers on a 24-month contract should anticipate at least two bill rises during their term.

The sale comes as Virgin Media launches its own January promotions, offering packages that include access to Sky channels. With significant savings and cash incentives on the table, the start of 2026 is proving to be a competitive period for home entertainment and broadband providers.
