Wolves Player Contracts: Stay or Go Ahead of Summer Rebuild

Wolverhampton Wanderers are bracing for a significant squad overhaul this summer following their relegation from the Premier League. With the season winding down, attention has turned to the futures of the club's senior players.

Contract Situations

As it stands, only Matt Doherty is out of contract in June. However, several players are expected to depart, with interest from other clubs likely to trigger a busy transfer window.

Goalkeepers

Jose Sa - Contract until June 2027 with a club option for an extra year. Despite his deal, Sa is expected to leave this summer given previous interest.

Defenders

Toti Gomes - Signed a five-and-a-half-year extension in February 2024, keeping him at the club until 2029.

Midfielders

Joao Gomes - Extended his contract until 2030 with a 12-month option. The midfielder has been linked with several clubs and is unlikely to stay.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - The £12.8m signing from 2023 has a contract until 2028. His future is uncertain.

Rodrigo Gomes - Signed until 2029 with an option for 2030. Recent form will attract interest.

Mateus Mane - Tied down to a long-term deal in September, the youngster has impressed over the festive period.

Enso Gonzalez - The young prospect signed a six-year deal in 2023 but has been hampered by injuries. He has three years left on his contract.

Forwards

Tolu Arokodare - Signed a four-year deal last summer with a 12-month option.

Adam Armstrong - Arrived in January on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
