A comprehensive list of the 17 cheapest new cars available in the UK for 2026 has been revealed, with all models priced under £20,000. The rankings, published by the Mail Online, highlight the Dacia Sandero as the most affordable option, starting at just £14,765.
Top Two Spots Dominated by Dacia
Dacia claims the top two positions on the list. The Dacia Sandero, a five-seater supermini, leads at £14,765. It recently underwent a redesign but remains highly affordable, offering a 328-litre boot and fuel efficiency of 53mpg. Inside, it features a 10-inch screen, a seven-inch digital driver display, blue fabric comfort seats, and a 3D sound system. The second cheapest is the Dacia Spring EV, an electric vehicle priced at £15,990, making it the most affordable new EV in the UK.
Dacia appears a total of four times on the list, including the Sandero Stepway at £16,065 and the Jogger at £18,995.
