Iceland Foods Introduces Free Same-Day Delivery for New Online Customers

Iceland Foods has unveiled a special promotion offering free same-day delivery for new online customers on all orders exceeding £40. This initiative is set to run from Thursday, March 26th, through Sunday, March 29th, providing a significant saving opportunity for shoppers booking home delivery slots.

Convenient Delivery Options and Timing

The same-day delivery service is designed for maximum convenience, operating until 9pm each day with delivery slots available in under two hours. This enhancement builds on Iceland's existing free next-day delivery offering, strategically timed in the lead-up to the Easter holiday period.

Richard Walker, Executive Chair of Iceland, commented on the promotion, stating: "We know that customers are feeling the pinch in the run up to Easter, especially as uncertainty from the middle east has already put prices up at the pump. We're proud to introduce this promotion across our same-day offering this weekend, helping families stock up on essentials ahead of the Easter break."

Comprehensive Product Range and Additional Savings

The free same-day delivery slots apply to the full range of Iceland and The Food Warehouse products, including new Easter offerings such as lamb and chicken dinner boxes priced at £30 and £25 respectively, each capable of feeding a family of four.

Concurrently, Iceland has reintroduced its 10 for £10 mix and match offer across all stores, applicable to over 150 big brand products spanning frozen, fresh, and grocery items. This dual promotion aims to provide substantial savings as the cost of living continues to impact consumers across fuel and energy expenses.

Iceland, competing with retailers like Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda, operates multiple stores in Birmingham and nationwide, positioning this promotion as a key strategy to attract new online shoppers during a financially challenging period.
