Leekes, the home department store located on Great Bridge Road in Bilston, is closing its doors for good in less than two weeks. The store is holding a massive closing down sale that runs until Thursday, August 2, with significant discounts across every department.
Huge Reductions Across the Store
Shoppers can take advantage of drastically reduced prices on ex-display bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. The bedroom section offers the Hypnos Wool 10 King 2+2 Drawer Divan Set with headboard, now priced at £3,460, down from £4,348. A display Silentnight Air Luxury King Mattress is available for £699, reduced from a top price of £1,049, and the Casa Eco Superior 1000 King Mattress is now £339, down from £629.
In the bedding department, a Tempur Original SmartCool Pillow is on sale for £109, reduced from its £139 price, and Catherine Lanesfield bedding is offered at 25 percent off.
Kitchen and Furniture Bargains
One ex-display kitchen is priced at £2,995, including cabinets, sinks, taps, and fixed appliances. A grey two-seater recliner sofa has been slashed from £2,349 to £1,249, while a fabric Casa Larry Chair is reduced to £499 from £799.
Carpets are available with 10 percent off the marked price, and towels come with a 20 percent discount. The homeware section features reductions on ornaments, artwork, candles, and artificial flowers. Those preparing for summer holidays can save 20 percent on selected luggage.
Store Closure Announcement
Signs outside the store promote the sale, and an email to customers from Leekes states: "Bilston, it's time to say goodbye - and thank you. After 15 wonderful years serving the local community, we have made the very difficult decision to close our Bilston store. We want to thank every single customer who has shopped with us over the years - it has been an absolute pleasure."
The email continues: "To ensure everything finds a new home, we are holding a massive closing down sale with drastic reductions across every department. Our entire stock of sofas, chairs, dining and occasional furniture, beds and bathroom furniture must go - along with flooring, ex-display bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens and appliances, bedding, lighting and more. Once it's gone, it really is gone. Everything is clearly priced, with lots of display stock available for immediate collection or delivery. This is first come, first served - so don't miss out."
