Discount supermarket Lidl is offering Birmingham residents a festive treat with a one-day-only exclusive wrapping paper event. The special promotion is taking place today, Wednesday 17 December 2025, at the Lidl store on 55 Mere Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, B75 5BN.
A Floral Tribute to the Second City
From 9am, the store's wrapping experts will be using a bespoke design created especially for the city. The wrapping paper features a vibrant yellow background adorned with bouquets of red roses, a nod to the popular flowers sold in Lidl's Midlands stores. Each professionally wrapped gift will be finished with a neat yellow bow.
Shoppers who prefer to wrap their own presents can purchase three packs of the exclusive wrapping paper for just 75p. All proceeds from these sales will be donated to Neighbourly, Lidl's community support partner.

The event is not just about wrapping paper. Lidl is also running a giveaway, with visitors to the Mere Green Road store in with a chance to win a selection of Christmas products.
