New K-Beauty Retailer Moida Set to Open at Birmingham Bullring with Exclusive Launch Event
A fresh Korean beauty destination, Moida, is preparing to open its doors at the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham, introducing a curated selection of viral Korean makeup and skincare brands to the city centre. The shop will occupy the former Tag Heuer unit near Popmart on the upper level, with its grand opening scheduled for Saturday, April 11.
Launch Event Details and How to Secure a £170 Goodie Bag
To mark the occasion, Moida is hosting a special ticketed launch event from 10am to 11am on opening day, offering goodie bags that the retailer claims are worth more than £170 to the first lucky fans. The event requires attendees to sign up for Moida's newsletter to obtain a promotional code for ticket access.
Tickets for the launch will be priced at £20, but this fee will be deducted from any purchase made on the day, effectively making it a redeemable deposit. Tickets are set to go on sale on Monday, March 30, at 1pm, so interested shoppers should act quickly to secure their spot.
What's Inside the Moida Goodie Bags?
Moida has teased some of the contents of these coveted goodie bags on social media, showcasing premium items such as a Biodance Collagen Mask and a Medicube PDRN Pink Hyaluronic Acid moisturising cream. These products highlight the shop's focus on high-quality, trending K-beauty essentials that have gained popularity online and in global markets.
Beauty Retail Competition Heats Up in Birmingham
Moida is not the only beauty brand making waves in Birmingham this week. KIKO Milano is also relaunching with a refreshed look near the Bull statue, reopening on Thursday, March 26. Its celebration at 11am will reward the first 100 customers with goodie bags containing full-size products, adding to the competitive retail landscape.
Additionally, the Bullring already hosts other K-beauty options, including a dedicated shop on the middle floor near Marks and Spencer. Korean beauty products have become staples in major retailers like Boots, Selfridges, Sephora, Space NK, and Superdrug, reflecting their growing mainstream appeal. When Pureseoul opened previously, it drew significant crowds, underscoring the strong demand for these brands in the region.
This launch positions Moida as a key player in Birmingham's expanding beauty scene, offering enthusiasts a new hub for exploring the latest in Korean skincare and cosmetics trends.
