M&S Announces Historic US Fashion Launch with Nordstrom Partnership
Marks & Spencer has revealed a groundbreaking move, declaring it will make its US fashion debut in stores through a strategic partnership with the iconic department store chain Nordstrom. This marks the first time ever that M&S Fashion will be available in physical retail locations across the United States, following the successful introduction of M&S Food in Target stores back in 2022.
Expanding Global Reach with Curated Collections
The collaboration aims to bring the best of M&S Fashion to customers in the US, with a curated selection of bestselling womenswear ranges set to launch in 30 Nordstrom stores spanning from Los Angeles to New York, as well as on Nordstrom's online platform. The offering will feature over 60 pieces from M&S's most-loved collections, including the premium casual brand Per Una, known for its crafted details, and the popular M&S Collection line.
Mark Lemming, Managing Director of International at M&S, emphasized the timing of this expansion, stating, "With strong brand momentum as the UK’s most trusted retailer and now leading in style, quality and value perceptions in our womenswear range, now is the time to build our brand awareness in the US Fashion market and establish ourselves as a globally trusted brand."

The decision to expand into the US fashion market was prompted by the overwhelming demand for M&S Food among American customers, who appreciate its quality, innovation, and value. In the UK, M&S Fashion already leads the market in these areas, and this partnership seeks to replicate that success internationally.
