Tesco Clubcard holders can earn triple points on all purchases made through Tesco Marketplace for the next three weeks. The promotion starts on Friday, May 22, and runs until June 9, offering customers the chance to accumulate three times the usual number of Clubcard points on a wide range of items.
What's on Offer
Shoppers can take advantage of deals, discounts, and savings on cinema tickets, garden items, toys, and more. To participate, simply place an order on Tesco Marketplace during the promotional period.
Peter Filcek, online development director at Tesco, said: "Tesco Marketplace is already a great place to find value, but our Triple Clubcard points offer running until 9 June gives customers even more reason to get ready for summer with us. These extra points can be put towards everything from eating out at restaurants to discounted trips to the cinema."
Sustainable Sourcing Milestone
In related news, Tesco has announced that it has met its commitment to source 100 percent MSC-certified tuna products. All tuna items, including tinned tuna, sold at Tesco and its wholesale business Booker now carry the blue MSC ecolabel, indicating sustainable sourcing.
Lee Bannerman, Tesco tinned fish buyer, commented: "Tinned fish is at the height of culinary fashion and is being driven by younger shoppers who have tuned into the fact that it is a cheap and convenient way of boosting their protein intake. The trend started in America a few years ago but is now really popular in the UK. The social media site TikTok is awash with influencers posting their tinned fish meal creations and offering tips on how to jazz up simple, easy-to-make meals such as tuna pasta bakes or salmon salads. You'd probably need to go back nearly 100 years to find the last time that tinned fish was such an exciting commodity."
