Waitrose Christmas Food: 33% Off Festive Deals End Tuesday
Waitrose's 33% Off Christmas Food Offer Ends Tuesday

Shoppers at Waitrose are being urged to act quickly, as a significant promotional offer on a range of Christmas food items is set to conclude at the close of Tuesday, December 2.

Last Chance for Festive Food Savings

The upmarket supermarket chain is currently running a compelling deal, allowing customers to save a third on selected Christmas food products. This limited-time promotion presents a final opportunity for consumers to stock up on festive essentials at a reduced cost before the December 25 celebrations.

Among the highlighted discounts is the Waitrose Christmas Classic Panettone, which has been reduced from £12.00 to £8.00. The retailer has also slashed the price of its Waitrose Christmas Stollen from £7.00 to £4.66. Furthermore, the No.1 12-Month Matured Christmas Pudding is now priced at £5, down from its original cost of £7.50.

Drink Promotions for the Holiday Season

In addition to the food savings, Waitrose is offering a series of discounts on festive beverages. A separate wine promotion, which runs from November 26 to December 2, provides 25% off when customers purchase six or more bottles of wine or champagne. This offer applies to bottles priced between £6 and £100.

Other notable drink deals include:

  • Bucks Fizz at £3.50 per bottle or two for £6.
  • Charles Lecouvey Champagne Brut NV, reduced from £30 to £20 (offer ended November 25).
  • San Leo Prosecco Magnum, down from £22 to £15 (offer ended November 25).
  • Codorniu 1872 Organic Rosé Brut, cut from £11 to £8 (offer ended November 25).
  • Baileys Terry's Chocolate Orange at an introductory price of £12.50 (available until January 1, 2026).

Broader Supermarket Industry Context

This promotional activity comes amidst wider concerns within the UK grocery sector. Recently, bosses from the nation's largest supermarkets, including Waitrose, joined a collective appeal to Chancellor Rachel Reeves.

In a letter coordinated by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), executives from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Asda, Iceland, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, and Waitrose argued against a new business rates surtax. The retailers warned that such a tax would ultimately lead to higher costs for shoppers and urged the government to consider exemptions to help tackle food inflation.

For customers in areas like Solihull and Birmingham, where Waitrose has stores, the current festive offers represent a timely chance for savings against a backdrop of broader economic pressures on the retail industry.
