Walkers has permanently discontinued its Crinkles range of crisps, with the last remaining packets available only while stocks last. The decision comes despite a brief revival of the product line in 2024, following an earlier production halt in 2022.
Production Ceased in February
The crinkle-cut snack, beloved by many fans, saw its production stopped in February 2026. A Walkers spokesperson confirmed the news to The Sun, stating: “After a great run, Walkers Crinkles will soon be leaving shelves.”
Flavours Affected
The Crinkles range, first introduced in the UK in 2011, included several popular flavours such as Simply Sea Salted, Cheddar & Onion, Salt & Malt Vinegar, and Sweet Chilli. These varieties will no longer be produced.
One disappointed customer wrote in an Amazon review of the Simply Salted multipack: “This was one of my favourite Walker's Crisp products, which is now no longer available - shame!”
Focus on Core Portfolio
The spokesperson explained that the decision allows Walkers to concentrate on its core offerings: “We know some fans may be disappointed, but they can still choose from our line-up of great-tasting crisps, from our new Walkers Baked flavours Slow Roasted Beef and Sun Dried Tomato & Basil to our bold Walkers MAX flavours. Evolving our portfolio allows us to focus on making more of the flavours people love the most.”
This move is part of a broader strategy to streamline the brand's product range and invest in its most popular lines. Walkers continues to offer a wide variety of crisps, including new and innovative flavours, to cater to changing consumer tastes.
