A West Bromwich Albion youngster who only joined the club last summer is currently on trial with League One side Reading.
According to reports in the Reading Chronicle, Torin Ntege, who signed for the Baggies last summer, featured in a 1-0 defeat for Reading’s under-21 side against Huddersfield Town.
The youngster came on in the second half of the game and went close to scoring, according to the reports.
Ntege signed for Albion after going on trial at The Hawthorns at the back end of the 2024/25 campaign. He did enough to earn himself a one-year deal.
His move to West Brom came after spending time at Peterborough United, where he also went on loan to St Ives Town. He bounced around a handful of non-league sides before Albion snapped him up last season.
Ntege has made 17 appearances for Albion in the Premier League 2, scoring twice and providing two assists.
But heading towards the end of the summer, with his contract expiring, he has gone out on trial at Reading to potentially secure a move.
