KR Grabhire Ltd has submitted an application to expand its goods vehicle operations at its Dudley trading estate base, seeking to increase the number of permitted vehicles from six to ten. The application, which concerns the company's operating centre at Unit 14, Dormston Trading Estate, Burton Road, Dudley, would not involve the addition of any trailers at the site.
Expansion of Operating Centre
The company currently holds a goods vehicle operator's licence allowing six vehicles and no trailers at the operating centre. If the application is approved, the total number of goods vehicles permitted at the site would rise to ten, an increase of four vehicles. The proposed changes would not affect the trailer allowance, which remains at zero.
The application has been made to vary the existing licence, and the notice has been published on the Public Notice Portal, accessible via publicnoticeportal.uk. The portal carries statutory public notices published in local newspapers and is designed to help residents find out about developments in their neighbourhood.
Public Consultation and Deadline
People who own or occupy land, including buildings, near the operating centre and believe their use or enjoyment of the land could be affected by the proposal can make representations to the Traffic Commissioner. Any representations must include the reasons for the objection and be submitted by October 16.
A copy of any representation must also be sent to KR Grabhire Ltd at Oaklands, Pound Green, Bewdley. Guidance on how to make representations is available on the Government website.
