A charity established in memory of murdered schoolboy Leo Ross has delivered a heartfelt message urging young people to "put down your weapons" as his teenage killer was sentenced to life in prison.

Leo's Legacy Foundation was created to honour the memory of 12-year-old Leo Ross, who was fatally stabbed in a random attack in Hall Green, Birmingham, in January last year. His attacker, who was just 14 years old at the time of the murder, received a life sentence with a minimum term of 13 years on Tuesday, February 10.
