Police have launched a public appeal to identify three men following a violent robbery at a supermarket in the Solihull borough, during which staff members were assaulted.
Violent Raid on Chester Road Store
The incident occurred at the Farmfoods shop on Chester Road in Castle Bromwich. It took place on Sunday, 21 December, shortly before Christmas. According to West Midlands Police, three men entered the store at around 2pm.
The individuals proceeded to attack members of staff before stealing goods from the premises. Thankfully, authorities have confirmed that no one sustained serious injuries during the ordeal.
CCTV Images Released in Public Appeal
Investigators have now issued CCTV stills of three men they are urgently seeking to trace in connection with the robbery. The force is asking the community to examine the images carefully.
The first man is described as white with short black hair, shaved at the sides, and is clean-shaven. In the image, he is wearing a dark jacket and light blue jeans.
The second suspect is also white and clean-shaven. He was captured on camera wearing a green baseball cap and a black Nike coat.
The third man is pictured with a balaclava covering most of his face. He is wearing a black Hoodrich top and black trousers, and can be seen carrying a bag with a strap across his body.
