West Midlands Police are investigating after a man in his 40s was stabbed in the leg on Glebe Farm Road in Stechford, Birmingham, on Friday afternoon, July 3. The victim was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Incident Details

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly before 4:30 PM following reports of a stabbing. An eyewitness reported seeing the man being stabbed in the leg and then banging his head. A cordon was put in place near the Lifestyle Express shop on Glebe Farm Road.

Police Response

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We're investigating after a man was found with stab injuries in Glebe Farm Road, Stechford, at just before 4:30pm today (Friday, July 3). The man in his 40s has been taken to hospital, although his injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
