Two schoolboys have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following a break-in at Castle Bromwich. West Midlands Police officers responded to reports of suspicious activity at a property on Springfield Road in the early hours of Tuesday, June 16.
Arrests Made
A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were taken into custody and remain there awaiting questioning. Police were alerted just after 4:15 am to the incident.
Police Statement
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We’ve arrested two teenagers in connection with a burglary in Castle Bromwich this morning. We received a report just after 4.15am about suspicious activity at a property on Springfield Road. Our officers arrived quickly at the address and located two teenage boys. The boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody where they currently remain for questioning."
