Police are investigating after shots were fired at a house in Birmingham, with officers remaining at the scene. The incident occurred on Witton Road in Aston on the evening of May 23.
West Midlands Police confirmed that no one was injured during the shooting, which took place just before 10:15 PM. Authorities are now working to identify those responsible through CCTV footage and other enquiries.
Road Closure and Diversions
In the early hours of May 24, Witton Road was cordoned off in both directions, causing traffic disruptions including bus diversions. The road reopened at approximately 11:20 AM.
A police spokesperson stated: "We are investigating after shots were fired at a house on Witton Road in Aston last night. It happened just before 10.15pm yesterday. No one was injured, and we are carrying out CCTV and other enquiries to identify those involved. Officers remain at the scene today."
