Six Individuals Arrested Following Serious Disorder in Coseley
West Midlands Police have made six arrests in connection with a concerning incident in Coseley, where a firearm was discharged and a man was reportedly forced into a vehicle against his will.
Police Response to Hockley Road Incident
Officers were called to reports of a disorder on Hockley Road in Coseley shortly before 11pm on Sunday, January 25th. Upon arrival, those involved had already left the scene, but evidence indicated that a firearm had been discharged during the altercation.
Following initial investigations, police developed information suggesting that a man had been bundled into a car and driven away from the location. The force has since confirmed that this individual has been located and, fortunately, was not seriously injured during the ordeal.
Arrests and Ongoing Investigation
In connection with this incident, West Midlands Police have arrested six people:
- Three men aged 21
- One man aged 22
- One man aged 25
- One woman aged 20
All have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap related to this case. Currently, four men remain in police custody, while one man and the woman have been released on bail with specific conditions.

Detective Inspector Francis Nock addressed community concerns, stating: "We understand how concerning this incident has been for the community which is why there's continued to be an increased police presence around the area."
