Suspect Description Released After Boy Abducted from Park

West Midlands Police have released a description of a male they are seeking in connection with the alleged abduction of a four-year-old boy from a Black Country park. The incident occurred at Haden Hill Park, off Halesowen Road in Cradley Heath, on Thursday, June 18, just after 3pm.

Details of the Incident

The young boy disappeared from his mother's side while she was attending to a baby near the pond. He was missing for several minutes before being found in nearby woodland. The child and his family are now being supported by specially trained officers as the investigation continues.

Suspect Description

The offender is described as a black male in his late teens, short in height, with curled hair. He is said to be clean-shaven and was wearing black clothing at the time of the incident.

Police Appeal

West Midlands Police have stated: 'We believe this is an isolated incident but we understand how concerning it is and understand the impact it will have in the area and to the local community.' Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are appealing for witnesses, particularly those who were in the park at the time and may have mobile footage, to come forward.
