LBC's Tom Swarbrick Pleads for Witnesses After Wife Spat At
This Morning star's wife spat at in Kent road rage

An LBC radio presenter has made a heartfelt plea to the public after his wife was the victim of a disgusting and unprovoked attack while driving with their young daughter.

Shocking Details of the Kent Lane Attack

Tom Swarbrick, a guest on ITV's This Morning, detailed the horrific event that occurred on a narrow rural lane in Kent. His wife had politely stopped her car to allow another vehicle to pass. Instead of driving on, the other driver pulled up alongside her.

The man then motioned for her to wind down her window. What followed was a torrent of explicit abuse. The situation escalated horrifically when the individual hocked up phlegm and spat it directly into her face.

A Terrified Child and Public Appeal

The consequences of the attack were immediate and traumatic. The couple's eight-year-old daughter, who was in the back seat during the entire ordeal, was left in pieces and terrified by what she had witnessed.

Swarbrick expressed his deep distress, stating he wanted the perpetrator to feel the fear he inspired in her. After speaking about the incident on his LBC show, a breakthrough occurred. A woman who was in the car behind the aggressor came forward as a witness.

Kent Police are now investigating and have been described as very helpful. The force is asking for anyone with further information to come forward.

A Call Against Misogyny and Road Rage

Tom Swarbrick shared his strong belief that the attack was motivated by misogyny. He asserted that the incident would not have happened had a man been driving the car.

He concluded by emphasising the absolute unacceptability of the situation, stating: It is absolutely unacceptable that someone would do this to a woman because they are a woman.
