Two people have been charged with drug offences following a police raid on a property in Tyseley linked to the 'Snowy' County Line. Ismael Ilyas, 21, and Nisha Chanda, 41, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Friday, August 14, after being remanded in custody.

West Midlands Police's County Lines Taskforce (CLTF) executed a warrant at an address on Matlock Road, Tyseley, on Thursday morning as part of an investigation into the 'Snowy' drugs line. During searches of the property, officers recovered large amounts of cash, suspected crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, along with weapons including a machete. Off-road bikes were also found at the scene.
Two individuals were arrested at the scene, and the force later confirmed the charges against them. Both Ilyas and Chanda have been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, as well as possession with intent to supply all three substances. They also face a charge of acquiring criminal property.
Additional charge and court appearance
Ilyas was additionally charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Both defendants were remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Friday, August 14.
