Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate a man with distinctive face tattoos following a violent attack and sexual offence in the West Midlands.
Wanted man identified
Warwickshire Police have released an image of Mitchell Hancox, 33, as they step up efforts to trace him. The suspect is wanted in connection with a violent assault and a sexual offence that took place in Bedworth.
Authorities are urging the public to call 999 immediately if they spot Hancox, who is believed to have links to Wolverhampton, Tamworth, and Stourport.
Police statement
In an appeal issued on May 31, Warwickshire Police stated: "Can you help us find Mitchell Hancox, 33, who is wanted in connection with a violent assault and sexual offence in Bedworth? He has links to Wolverhampton, Tamworth and Stourport. Anyone who sees Hancox should call 999."
The force added: "Any other information that could help us find him can be provided via our website www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or by calling 101. Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers offers a reward of up to £1,000 for information that leads to an arrest or that is of significant use."
