West Mercia Police have issued an urgent appeal for a key witness after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman near Black Hill Car Park at the Malvern Hills on Sunday 2 August.
The incident occurred at approximately 2.30pm when the man reportedly approached the woman before removing his clothes and masturbating. The victim immediately left the scene and contacted police, who responded promptly to the report.
Arrest made near the scene
A 32-year-old man was arrested in the vicinity of Black Hill Car Park on suspicion of indecent exposure. He currently remains in police custody while enquiries continue. Officers have confirmed that the suspect is known to authorities and is cooperating with the investigation.
Black Hill Car Park is a popular starting point for walkers and visitors exploring the Malvern Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that attracts thousands of tourists each year. The incident has understandably caused concern among local residents and regular visitors to the area.
