A 50-year-old woman and three 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was attacked with a metal bar in Droitwich, leaving him barely conscious. The victim, in his 20s, sustained significant head injuries and required hospital treatment following the incident on Wych Road at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, June 30.
Arrests and Bail
The four suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault and have since been released on bail while West Mercia Police continue their investigation. Detective Sergeant Matthew Robinson confirmed that enquiries are progressing but urged witnesses to come forward.
Police Appeal for Information
Detective Sergeant Robinson stated: “This was a serious assault which left a man with significant head injuries and requiring hospital treatment. Our enquiries are progressing, but we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have captured it on CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage. Even if you believe the information you have is insignificant, it could prove vital to our investigation, and I ask that you please come forward.”
