Emergency services were called to Temple Row in Birmingham city centre on Tuesday afternoon after a car struck a pedestrian and then collided with a building. The incident occurred at around 4.30pm on September 29, according to West Midlands Police.
The woman who was hit suffered injuries that are "not thought to be life-changing" at this stage, the force said. A photograph from the scene appeared to show a white-coloured SUV embedded in a building, with its rear end sticking out. Police officers and firefighters were seen standing next to the vehicle, responding to the incident.
Police appeal for witnesses and footage
West Midlands Police have asked anyone with information or footage to come forward. A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called after a woman was hit by a car which then hit a building on Temple Row, Birmingham, at around 4.30pm today (29 September). The woman suffered injuries which at this stage are not thought to be life-changing."
The man driving the car remained at the scene and is helping with enquiries, the spokesperson added. Members of the public who can assist with enquiries have been asked to get in touch.

The blue lights of two police vehicles could be seen in the distance, along with an ambulance. A number of emergency services personnel, including police officers and firefighters, were at the scene. The incident took place in a busy area of the city centre during the afternoon.
