A Birmingham man has been charged with supplying cocaine in Tamworth after Staffordshire Police seized approximately £100,000 worth of the class A drug during a raid in the city.
Details of the arrest
Taulant Domi, 29, of no fixed abode, was arrested following a search of an address in Birmingham on Monday, July 20. The operation was carried out by the force’s major and organised crime team, who were investigating the supply of cocaine into Tamworth. During the raid, officers discovered around one kilogram of cocaine with an estimated street value of £100,000.
Charges brought
Domi, originally from the Birmingham area, has been charged with multiple offences. These include possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possessing criminal property, possessing counterfeit currency, three counts of possessing an article for use in fraud, and breaching a deportation order. He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday, July 22.
