A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: 'We're currently in Colmore Row Birmingham city centre, after a man is understood to have fallen a number of floors within a building. He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. We're currently at the scene with emergency service colleagues as we seek to establish the full circumstances.'
