A family in Rowley Regis has been left with nothing after their home was destroyed in a devastating fire on Monday evening, August 3. The blaze, which broke out on Bridgefield Walk, forced the family to escape with only the clothes on their backs, and a fundraiser has already raised over £3,800 to help them start over.

In a statement, Chelsea said: "My sister and her family have lost absolutely everything. In a matter of moments, their entire home and all of their belongings were destroyed. They escaped with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, and they are now faced with the unimaginable task of trying to rebuild their lives from scratch."

Fire Crews Battle Blaze Across Multiple Floors
West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident shortly after 10.35pm on Monday. A spokesperson for the service said: "Eight fire engines, crewed by around 40 firefighters from Oldbury, Smethwick, Dudley, Tipton, Highgate, West Bromwich, Brierley Hill and Kings Norton attended. This was a fire affecting a three-storey property, comprising a row of eight houses. The fire caused significant damage to the ground, first and second floors. The roof space was also affected."
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as the family managed to escape in time. However, the emotional toll is immense, as they now face the daunting prospect of rebuilding their lives from nothing.
