Solihull Burglary: Woman Steals Car Keys, Police Appeal

West Midlands Police are investigating a daylight burglary on Beechnut Lane in Solihull, where a woman broke into a property and stole car keys before attempting to drive away in a vehicle parked on the driveway.

Incident Details

The incident occurred at around 3pm on Saturday, April 18. CCTV footage captured the woman loitering near the driveway before she entered the property and emerged with the keys. Police confirmed that she tried to drive off but was stopped before she could leave the scene.

Police Appeal

No arrests have been made yet. In a statement, West Midlands Police said: 'We want to speak with them after a property on Beechnut Lane, Solihull, was broken into at around 3pm on 18 April. A woman broke into the property, stole car keys and tried to drive away in a car parked on the driveway before they were stopped.'

Officers have reviewed CCTV footage but have been unable to identify the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
