Flowers Left After Hit-and-Run Kills Birmingham Dad

Flowers have been left at the scene of a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a Birmingham father, described as the 'kindest soul'. The incident occurred on Heath Way in Hodge Hill shortly after 7.45pm on Sunday, April 26.

Victim Identified

Thomas Brown, 29, was cycling when he was struck by a car. He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in critical condition but died three days later.

In a heartfelt tribute, friends and family described Thomas as a 'bubbly' character who was always up for a laugh. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover funeral costs.

Police Investigation

Officers have recovered a vehicle believed to be involved in the crash, but no arrests have been made. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: 'Our investigation is ongoing and we would ask anyone who may not have spoken to us, or has any information that could help to get in touch.'
