Former Love Island Star Jack Fincham Reveals He's Homeless After Rehab

Former Love Island star Jack Fincham has publicly confessed that he is currently homeless following his recent completion of a two-month rehabilitation program. The 34-year-old reality television personality, who gained fame on the popular dating show, shared his challenging circumstances in a candid video posted to his Instagram account.

Struggles with Addiction and Financial Loss

Jack Fincham, who previously dated Dani Dyer on Love Island before their split, has faced significant personal struggles in recent years. He admitted to losing millions of pounds due to his battles with addiction, which derailed his promising career in television and film, including a role in The Last Heist. Earlier this year, Fincham revealed he had relapsed into drinking and drugs, leaving him with just £20 to his name.

Life After Rehabilitation

After spending two months in rehab, Fincham is now focused on rebuilding his life from scratch. In his Instagram video, he explained, "I tried living in Liverpool… unfortunately the person I lived with it just didn't work out." He expressed disappointment at not receiving the expected support from close acquaintances, stating, "I thought I'd be getting more support from people close to me that haven't shown that support."

The television personality emphasized the reality of post-rehab life, quoting advice he received during treatment: "One thing they told me in rehab and it's true, you're not gonna walk out of rehab to a red carpet rolled out for you because it's stuff you should have been doing anyway."

Current Living Situation and Future Plans

Fincham disclosed that he is currently staying in a hotel with his dog, Elvis, whom he credits with providing crucial emotional support. "In case anyone is wondering where I am, I'm staying a hotel with the dog," he said. "I'm just gonna reset and work out what to do and where I wanna live. Got my beautiful dog Elvis, without him I probably wouldn't even be here to be honest."

Despite describing the transition back into the world as "scary," Fincham remains optimistic about his future. He acknowledged, "There's been a few struggles along the way and look I'm starting again from zero. I'm a very optimistic person and I just think it can't get any worse than this." He expressed determination to revive his career, stating, "I'm gonna do my acting and get back into TV work I'm gonna do all the things I said I was gonna do."

Previous Rehabilitation Attempts

This is not Fincham's first attempt at rehabilitation. He previously completed a stint in rehab in 2021 but experienced a relapse before Christmas last year, highlighting the ongoing challenges of addiction recovery. His current situation underscores the difficult journey many face when trying to overcome substance abuse and rebuild their lives.
