Skanda Vale Hospice is set to host its annual Summer Fete on Saturday, June 6, 2026, offering a day filled with live music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities from late morning into the evening.
Event Details
The popular event runs from 11am to 8pm and is open to everyone. Entry is priced at £3.50, with free admission for children under seven.
Music Line-Up
This year's music line-up is headlined by festival favourites Tootin Ska Moon. Earlier in the afternoon, Pembrokeshire's community samba band Samba Doc will bring lively Brazilian drumming. Joining them on the busy bill are Welsh male voice choir Cor Meibion Cwmann a'r Cylch, Indian classical dancer Debdatta Mallik, and the Llandysul Community Gospel Choir, who will start the music at 11.30am.
Attractions and Food
Alongside the main stage, visitors will find craft stalls, children's games, a coconut shy, face painting, cream teas, and cakes. Freshly made food will be available from the hospice's own woodfired pizza oven and Indian street food stalls.
Location and Accessibility
The fete takes place in the lovely hospice gardens at Skanda Vale Hospice in Saron, Llandysul. Visitors are welcome to wander around the building and grounds throughout the day. There is limited parking on site, full wheelchair accessibility, and well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
Previous Success
Last year's event drew more than 300 people and raised over £3,500 to support the vital work of the hospice.
