About the League of Friends

The League of Friends is a charitable organization operated by volunteers, dedicated to supporting the work of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. All funds raised by the group are reinvested into patient care across the county.

Support from Trust Leadership

Mark Powell, chief executive at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, expressed his gratitude: “Thank you to the League of Friends who always host a fantastic summer fayre event each year. I always look forward to when these come around as they are a fantastic way to support a good cause! Money raised from the day will go towards the League of Friends charity to support patient activities and materials. This will help the Trust to better patient experience for those who we care for, and so attendance is strongly encouraged.”
